Strandberg Associates Active-Matrix Filters, are compact fixed media filters used to remove low concentrations of many chemicals including some organic chemicals from water. The typical incoming concentrations are 20 ppm or less and the discharge concentrations are often less than than 5 ppb. These filters are inexpensive and are easy to run. They are particularly suited to polishing existing treated wastewater streams to very low discharge limits.
